Hey there everyone. Sorry I haven't been updating as much as I should, but I had some priorities during the holidays. But now I'm back. :D How were your holidays and New Year's Eve? I hope you guys had fun. I know I did. ;] Anyway, on to the update!
------

Contest deadline extended
"Due to overwhelming response, we have decided to extend the deadline for FMA TCG Contest #3 to January 10, 2006." -over @ the official website

So if you still have some amazing decks to submit, you still have a chance, yo! :D

End of year picturefest
With the year closing up, the folks over at Joy Ride decided to post some pictures of some of the events of the year 2005. It's a nice little gallery. *nods* And with that, they said goodbye to year 2005.
------

Well, that's all for now, folks. Hope to hear from you all sometime~ *poofs*

Sorry for the lack of update, folks. College has been kicking my ass lately and I've had little time to do anything but college work to do. :x Anyways, this is going to be a huge update, yo! Brace yourself!
------

FMA TCG Contest #3
This is a neat little contest to create a good deck for one of the JoyRide staffers to use for victory! The person who sends in the winning deck gets a FULL set of basic, foils, chases and transmutes card of the Blood & Water set! How neat is that?! The other three decks that are chosen will recieve a full regular and foil sets of Blood & Water, along with a random chase and transmute from the set. Not too shabby! The deck MUST be submitted to contests@fma-tcg.com by 8:30 a.m Eastern. Monday, January 2. I might enter this contest and test my luck! You guys should too! Details on the contests are on the link posted.
------

JoyRide announces Fullmetal Alchemist TCG expansion plans for 2006
Deatails on the new Artificial Human expansion! Also, starting with Artificial Human, there will be boxes that will contain 12 booster packs. Which is nice, for people who don't have as enough money. *nod*
------

Leagues announced for Fullmetal Alchemist TCG
Instructions on how to set up your own Leagues are included in the link. You can purchase the League kits for 20 bucks at JoyRide's site, which is not bad at all.
------

Belsio, Misunderstood Neighbor
They have different and nifty tactics to use along with this card. Like, for example, putting a Lab Gear on him so he'll play Catch the Train fro free. Or play an Out The Window to get +3 to an attribute.
------

FMA TCG named top Anime CCG
"FMA combined the year's hottest anime and manga property with solid game mechanics and a healthy dose of strategic depth. The ability to frame combat on your own team's ability strengths is a neat twist on traditional CCG battle, too."

One would think that, seeing as how expensive those cards went on eBay!
------

FMA TCG Artificial Human Pre-Release Announced
The Pre-Release event will be from Feb. 3-5, 2006.

That's all for now. Sorry I couldn't write more, but I'm currently trying to finish one of my final projects. >.>; Post your inputs on anything you wish! Until next time~ *poofs*

Finally finished this deck. It's the first real deck I made, so it took me awhile to decide which cards to put in or take out.

Anyway, here it is, yo!Collapse )

I think it's a pretty good deck for the first one that I built. What do you guys and gals think? I'm planning to make a Hughes deck next. Then an Envy one~ :D That's all for now,yo! Please post any suggestions you may have! *poofs*

UPDATE-
Took out "Scar, Brawler" for "Scar, Ishbala's Crusader".

Woo for updates~ [17 Nov 2005|11:53pm]

The most recent version of the Collected Rulings Document for the Fullmetal Alchemist TCG is posted here.

Also, the official deck list form was posted.
This will come in handy to build up decks, so you can keep track what's on which deck.

Along with that list, the score card for judges who can't use the tourney software was posted. It's useful for keeping track of attacks and points during the game.

------

Envy, Copycat
Playing this card with "Lust, Woman with a Dream" is a good choice, since you get to play twice from your discard pile on each turn. *nods*

------

My friend and I finally got our Blood and Water decks. In addition to that, we got a whole box of boosters, and we found various awesome cards! I found a whole lot of Scar ones, including the "Scar, Alchemist Hunter" Chase Card. My friend pulled out a TRANSMUTATED Tim Marcoh, though I don't remember which one. But it's the first time I've seen a transmutated card. Those look awesome, yo! :D I'm currently finishing up a Scar deck which I will post on the next update. *nods* Remember that you guys can also post your own decks so people can comment on them! Any suggestions or questions, please ask. That's all for now! *poofs*

Small update with card info! [12 Nov 2005|01:35am]

Here's that popular card that went over $150 on eBay!

Roy, Master Manipulator
This card controls the location you'll be fighting over. It sounds like the kind of card you might really want to put in your deck. No wonder that one person wanted it so bad! D:

This update was short (*hides from Ed* xD) and sweet, though you can all post comments on the cards and junk. Don't be shy, we don't bite much. :D? xD Anyway, until next time~ *poofs*

Gen Con So Cal, Blood and Water expansion and more! [10 Nov 2005|07:07pm]

Those South Carolinians are lucky!
Makes me want to take a plane over there to take part of the huge FMA TCG scene going on over there. It's so hard to get one started over here, since people haven't really heard of the game all that much. :x Anyways, if any of you guys and gals were lucky enough to go to this, tell us your personal experience in here!

------

The Blood and Water expansion is finally here! Did you guys go out and get yourselves some awesome cards? Tell us what cool cards you got in here! :D Me and a friend of mine ordered our decks online, so we're still anxiously waiting for those to come. *nods*

Joyride has already put up a list of the current available cards from the Blood and Water expansion. It's located here. I'm defently keeping an eye out for that Envy, Copycat Chase card. And a few others too, they sound so awesome, yo!

Blood and Water articles are going to start appearing in some popular anime and gaming magazines. Such as IQGamer and Anime Insider, as well as Beckett Anime, which will have a new FMA TCG price guide, beginning next issue. Scrye will have an FMA TCG cover and strategy by Lead Designer Ian Ryan. Keep your eyes peeled for those! Wonder if some of those magazines will include some cards...

------

With Blood and Water having just come out, JoyRide announces that they're almost ready to make announcements about their next expansion for 2006. With:"One of them should really knock your socks off!" being said, it makes me real curious as to what kind of cards they'll be planning for that expansion!

Well, that's all for now. Though lemme say one thing, you guys are absolutely free to make any posts relating to the TCG, so go ahead and do so! This community is made for you guys and I want to know some of your input! Until next time, later, yo! *poofs*

New card, and some other updates, yo! [04 Nov 2005|10:35pm]

Claire,Selfless Benefactor
It takes the top two cards of your opponents deck and puts them in the bottom of their deck. Not as useful as discarding your opponents cards, but at least you can make them wait if you happen to nab their "Godly" cards to the bottom of their pile. *nods*

State Alchemists List updated!
A list of the current "State Alchemists" from different places. You can also become one, just inquire for some information by e-mail.

Fullmetal Alchemist Trading Card Game hits the century mark!
"Prices for Fullmetal Alchemist TCG singles continue to soar, with a new high reached earlier this week on eBay. Several chase and transmutated (plastic) cards have been going for $50 and up, but a new high was set last Oct. 26. A copy of Roy Mustang, Master Manipulator sold for $102.50, breaking the previous observed record for a single card of $91, paid for a Lust, Femme Fatale chase card on Sept. 21"
-Taken from the official site

I actually saw as the prices went rising, since me and a friend of mine were hunting for good cards on eBay. We couldn't believe how high those prices went! It was insane, yo!

------

Also, the premier for the Blood and Water was last weekend. Did any of you get to go? I didn't get to go since the nearest place having the darn premier was Chapel Hill, NC, and I'm all the way over in Winston-Salem, NC. :/ If you did happen to go, tell us about it! :D?

Speaking of Blood and Water, the release of the new cards is November 9th! Are you getting excited yet? I sure am. :D Can't wait to get my hands of some of those cards!

That's all for now. Feel free to discussing anything! ;] *poofs*

A few intereting things to share, yo! [25 Oct 2005|01:48am]

We already know that there was (and still are in SOME stores) the FMA manga #3 with that Lust card in it, but will there be more card inserts like that in manga, magazines or elsewhere? Oh yes, there will be. In fact, the next time you see one will be in the FMA DVD volume #6. The card will be Scar, Ishbala's Crusaider. So be on the lookout when that DVD comes out!
-----

Blood and Water premier card: Tim Marcoh, Clever Deserter
Seems like a good card except that you need +1 alchemy and you have to show your cards to your opponent. Discuss your opinion on the new card. :] Also, you can find more preview cards on other than the official TCG site. *nod*

-----

Blood and Water by the numbers
25 Chase cards- Holy Zen! :O
7 Cards named “Envy”-OMG, must have, yo! xD

This looks exciting! Can't wait for these cards to come out! *jump of joy* :D

-----

Blood and Water pre-release list
For a list of the place where they're going to have the pre-release events. More *might* be added to the list. Just remember that the pre-release event is this coming weekend! So if you're near these locations, go and get yourself some cards, yo! ;P The only other chance you'll have is to wait all the way until November 9th, when is when the actual Blood and Water cards go on sale! *nodnod*

FMA TCG Regions Announced
Interesting thing here, folks. Areas around the US and other areas such as Hawaii, Australia and the Unied Kingdoms have been given the FMA town names for use in the regional championships! Like North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky is Central Cinty, and Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas is Ishbal. I thought it was pretty neat! It's also neat how you can become a "State Alchemist" by getting a FMA TCG scene going on around in your town!

Well, that's all for now! *poofs*

Alright, this is STILL ellyberry, I'm just on my gaming journal. I decided to mod the community with this account instead, so don't get all confused on me. ;P Anyways, I'm currently working with adding more info for you all to read so it won't be so empty as it was. *nod* I'm also going to be working on a layout this weekend, so the place won't look so blah and plain. Just a heads up! Oh! And let me know if any of you have any suggestions, it would help! *goes back to adding more junk*
